Please Follow These Steps:
- Go to the Calendar of Events and click on the Year or Month, then the date of your event, e.g. July 18, 1812.
- You now have two choices:
A. Use the Event Template (Recommended)
- 1. Go to the Date Page of Your Event.
- 2. Copy and paste this exact code (bold, with brackets) - {{Subst:Event}} - onto the date page. If you find another event or events on the page, paste yours after theirs.
- 3. Save the page by clicking the Save button at bottom left.
- 4. Click Edit at the top left to reopen the page. You will see the following entry format ready to use:
===Month Day, Year===
- 5. Type or paste the exact date (the page name) in the ===Month Day, Year=== field.
(e.g. ===January 1, 2012===)
- 6. Fill in the details about your event below the date
- 7. To make your Web site clickable, add your complete address with "http://www."
You entry will automatically appear in the monthly entry list as well.

- You can also give the details of your event, using the format below:

Other Features
- Contact us if you want to add images, Google Maps and videos to enhance your event.
- You can also open an individual page for your group or institution, and list your events there as well.
Create Your Own Page
- If you wish, find your group or institution in the left hand menu, on the Master Group list, Groups (Canada) or Groups (USA), Reenactors, Museums, or Other.
- FIll in information on your group or institution. You may also add images, videos or maps. Please contact us if you need help.
